When the snow melts, the mountain doesn't stop. Year-round adaptive sports programs for athletes of all abilities at Mount Snow.

Summer Season Programs

Our summer adaptive programs bring the spirit of ASMS to warm-weather mountain activities. All programs are open to individuals with physical, cognitive, and sensory disabilities.

  • Bluebirds Golf Program

    Train with the Bluebird Golf Team and prepare for the Vermont Special Olympics Golf Tournament. Athletes ages 8 and older will learn golf fundamentals and competition skills in a fun, supportive environment at Mount Snow Golf Course.

  • Summer Hiking

    Explore the natural beauty of Southern Vermont through guided hikes designed for adaptive athletes. Participants will enjoy outdoor adventure, physical activity, and time with friends while discovering the trails and scenic landscapes of the Deerfield Valley.

  • Lake Whitingham Water Day

    Spend a summer day on beautiful Lake Whitingham with Adaptive Sports at Mount Snow.

  • Blueberry Cooking

    Learn basic cooking skills while creating a delicious blueberry treat with friends, volunteers, and staff. This hands-on activity combines creativity, teamwork, and fun in the kitchen.

  • Family Float With Zoar Outdoors

    Explore the Deerfield River on a guided whitewater rafting adventure with Zoar Outdoor. This family-friendly experience combines outdoor recreation, teamwork, and fun while navigating the scenic Class I and II rapids of Western Massachusetts.

  • Fishing with Anthony

    Spend a relaxing day outdoors learning to fish, enjoying nature, and making memories with friends, family, and volunteers. No experience is necessary—just bring your sense of adventure.

  • I Love Art

    Explore your creativity with hands-on art projects led by a local artist in a fun, welcoming, and inclusive environment. Participants will create unique works of art while building confidence, friendships, and self-expression.

  • Blueberry Parade Decoration & Participation

    Celebrate community, creativity, and inclusion by helping decorate the ASMS parade float and participating in the annual Deerfield Valley Blueberry Festival Parade.

  • Summer Hiking with Game Warden Kyle

    Explore the natural beauty of Southern Vermont through guided hikes led by Adaptive Sports at Mount Snow and Vermont Game Warden Kyle. Participants will enjoy outdoor adventure, wildlife discovery, and time with friends in a supportive environment.
