About Summer Hiking
Summer Adaptive Hiking provides adaptive athletes ages 5 and older with the opportunity to explore the outdoors while enjoying the beauty of the Mount Snow and Deerfield Valley region. Guided by Adaptive Sports at Mount Snow staff and volunteers, participants will experience a variety of accessible trails and outdoor destinations throughout Southern Vermont. Hikes are designed to accommodate a wide range of abilities and focus on building confidence, promoting physical activity, encouraging social interaction, and fostering a connection with nature. Participants will have the opportunity to explore local forests, scenic overlooks, mountain trails, and other natural attractions while learning about the area's wildlife, ecology, and environment. Whether you are an experienced hiker or simply enjoy spending time outdoors, Summer Adaptive Hiking offers a fun, supportive, and inclusive way to stay active and discover the natural beauty of Vermont.
